RouteToRoute Transport

The eiConsole and eiPlatform allow you to pass data between various Routes. When you wish to hand data off from one Route to the next, you will use the RouteToRoute Transport. Select this option from the Transport Type drop-down.

On the Basic configuration tab, you will enter the name of the Target Listener. This will match the name given to a programmatic or triggerable Listener in the interface that you wish to invoke.

Also, you can specify:

Response Listener: The Listener name to be invoked with a synchronous response; should be a “Programmable (Java)” Listener or custom-coded equivalent.
Timeout (sec): Specifies the amount of time, in seconds, permitted to the invoked route before considered a failure. It does not attempt to abort.
