Logging In

Since the eiDashboard is an entirely web-based application, it can be reached from any web browser. The URL will vary based on your server platform, network settings and installation. But when using default configuration settings, your eiDashboard URL will likely be as follows:

• Tomcat installations: http://<dashboard_host>:8080/dashboard/index.html
• Windows Service Installations: http://<dashboard_host>:8989/dashboard/index.html

Typically, all that will change for custom configurations is the port number the eiDashboard uses and the hostname if not connecting locally.

When properly connected, you will be greeted by the login page shown below.

Clicking the ‘Settings’ button shows a list of the eiPlatforms configured in the eiDashboard’s connections.xml file and allows switching between the active connections if more than one is available.

Signing into the eiDashboard is as simple as entering your eiPlatform credentials and clicking ‘Sign In’.
