eiConsole Foundation Tutorial

Adding a Source System Name & Icon

You will need to navigate to the Working Directory c:\Users\{USER _NAME}\PilotFish eiConsole Working Directories\Foundation where {USER_NAME} is the user’s name which was included in the sample files you downloaded in the first Foundation Tutorial – Creating a Working Directory.

Note: The Tutorials in the eiConsole Foundation, 1-13, are modular and designed to be used in the sequence presented.

To add the Source System name, select the Source System stage.

Enter “Flat File Source ” in the System Name text box, then enter/return. Note that the Source System stage is now defined as a Flat File Source.

Click on the Choose Source Icon button …

… and the Choose Source Icon dialog will appear.

Select a new icon in the main field. Click Select.

The new icon will appear in the main grid of the eiConsole.

If you have several Sources, each of them can have a unique icon.

Now, delete the extra Sources and continue to the next to tutorial – Configuring the Listener.
