WebSphere MQ Series Transport
The eiConsole and eiPlatform support native connectivity to WebSphere MQ messaging environments. Select this option from the Transport Type drop-down.
On the Basic configuration tab, the Queue Manager configuration item contains the name of the Queue Manager from which you will acquire the queue. The Queue Name configuration item should specify the name of the specific queue that you wish to send messages to. The Host configuration item allows you to specify the host for the WebSphere MQ. The Channel allows you to specify the MQ Channel that you wish to use. The Port configuration item allows you to change the default port that you will use to connect to the WebSphere MQ system. The default is 1,414. For more details on how any of these configuration items should be populated, please consult your Web Sphere MQ documentation.
On the Advanced tab, the Poll Attribute for Correlation ID configuration item allows you to specify the Correlation ID for a particular WebSphere MQ message by populating a transaction attribute. The Message Type configuration item allows you to specify the type of message that you’re going to be putting on the queue. The Message Tokenizer configuration item allows you to specify a tokenizer or a delimiter that you’ll use to split the inbound message into discrete messages to be placed on the queue. The Is batch sensitive configuration item allows you to specify whether or not messages being placed on the queue are part of a larger batch.
