XPath Value Retrieval Processor
XPath Value Retrieval Processor – Replaces transaction with a literal element value given an XPath expression (text-based).
Select the Processor Configuration tab and click on Add Processor.
Select the XPath Value Retrieval Processor from the drop-down.
On the Basic tab you can set:
XPath Expression: The XPath expression to be evaluated.
Treat as XML: specifies if the resulting Node should be handled as XML or as literal.
Override Encoding: When NOT selected, resulting XML character encoding will be set to the character encoding specified in the source XML.
Character Encoding: The character encoding to be used in the resulting XML
Namespaces: The prefixes and URLs of any namespaces in the XPath expression
On the Conditional Execution tab, you can set additional processor execution conditions. The Transaction data dependent condition may be specified here as enhanced expression. If this expression returns anything other than TRUE (ignore case) – this processor will be skipped.
On the Deprecated tab you can set:
Namespace: The default namespace of the document to be parsed. Note, that if you set this parameter you should use the ‘default’ prefix in the XPath expression.
On the Compatibility tab you can set:
Restrict to XPath 1.0: Restrict processing to XPath 1.0 for compatibility with older Processor implementations.
